A insectoid robot the size of a small dog, designed for home security. Armed with two close-range tazers, it can skate across the ground with great speed.

This creature is a dog sized robot. It's an awful fighter with low hit points. It's faster than you, clumsy, has high armor against bashing weapons and high armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets). Its special ability allows it to shock you with its tazer, every 5 turns.

It has extremely high morale and it's totally aggressive. Being a robot, it's afraid of nothing in particular, and can be angered by nothing in particular.

It can see, can hear noises, is able to track noises particularly well, can be damaged by EMP blasts and become friendly, doesn't breathe (it's not affected by smoke, toxic gases, drowning, etc), walks around some dangerous terrain and traps, and nothing else.

Being made of steel, it's vulnerable to electricity.

When it dies, it breaks (so, it can now be disassembled).

(View - Edit Notes )Notes

  • Watch out for these in Labs. They don't do much damage alone but multiple skitterbots can slice through your torso easily.
  • They inflict the Zapped effect on attack which causes your Dexterity and Speed to drop to 0. It also makes it harder to run afterwards due to Pain.
  • Avoid getting in melee range and run away or have a good bashing weapon (and skills) to make sure you can finish them easily.
  • They're quite hard to hit at range (even with good firearms and skills) and are usually a waste of ammo although precisely aimed crossbows or bows can also finish them off.
